Ben jij een jonge Franstalige / Francofiele kunstenaar en geïnteresseerd in interculturele uitwisselingen of migratiestromen tussen Franstalige landen en Nederland? De Alliance Française Utrecht organiseert een tentoonstelling van beeldende kunstwerken die de begrippen ‘passages’ en ‘traversées’ onderzoeken en hierop een inspirerende, vernieuwende en relevante visie bieden.
De Alliance wil interculturele uitwisseling en dialoog bevorderen en is daarom op zoek naar artistieke werken die in gesprek gaan met thema’s als vriendschap, tolerantie, burgerschap en liefde. Op deze manier wil de Alliance Française de ‘passages’ en ‘traversées’ zichtbaar maken die onze samenleving vormgeven en bovendien jonge kunstenaars de kans geven zich te profileren in het werkveld.
Om te participeren moet je een dossier indienen in het Frans of Engels, bestaande uit de volgende onderdelen: een portfolio en een brief (maximaal 2000 woorden) waarin je je artistieke visie verwoordt, je motivatie om deel te nemen aan de tentoonstelling en het project dat je in gedachten hebt uitlegt. Het dossier moet uiterlijk 14 april naar het volgende e-mailadres worden gestuurd: direction.utrecht@afpb.nl. Alle inzendingen worden vervolgens naar de jury gestuurd ter beoordeling. Hierbij wordt gelet op originaliteit, artistieke kwaliteit en relevantie met betrekking tot het interculturele thema. In totaal worden vijf kunstenaars geselecteerd.

L’Alliance Française Utrecht vise une exposition d’œuvres d’art visuel qui interrogent les notions de « passages » et de « traversées » et qui présentent une vision inspirante, innovative et pertinente vis-à-vis du sujet.
L’Alliance souhaite promouvoir l’échange interculturel et le dialogue. Elle envisage alors des œuvres qui explorent l’interculturalité, l’amitié, la tolérance, la citoyenneté et l’amour, que ce soit dans le but de les célébrer ou de les questionner. Ainsi, l’Alliance Française voudrait rendre visibles les passages et les traversées qui animent notre société ainsi que donner la possibilité aux jeunes artistes de se présenter au milieu artistique.
Chaque artiste doit rendre un dossier de candidature en français ou en anglais comprenant les éléments suivants : un portfolio et une lettre (2000 mots maximum) dans laquelle l’artiste explique sa vision artistique, sa motivation pour participer à l’exposition et le projet qu’il/elle envisage. L’envoi du dossier se fait par mail à l’adresse de l’Alliance Française Utrecht jusqu’au 14 avril. Tous les dossiers seront ensuite transmis au jury pour délibération. Ils seront jugés selon leur originalité, leur qualité artistique et leur pertinence par rapport à la thématique interculturelle. Cinq artistes en total seront sélectionnés.

The Alliance Française Utrecht is organising an exhibition of visual art works that explore the concepts of ‘passages’ and ‘traversées’ and offer an inspiring, innovative and relevant vision of them.
The Alliance Française Utrecht wants to promote intercultural exchange and dialogue and is therefore looking for artistic works that engage with themes such as friendship, tolerance, citizenship and love. In this way, the Alliance Française wants to make visible the ‘passages’ and ‘traversées’ that shape our society and also give young artists the opportunity to make their mark in the field.
To participate, you must submit a dossier in French or English, consisting of the following parts: a portfolio and a letter (maximum 2000 words) in which you express your artistic vision, explain your motivation to participate in the exhibition and the project you have in mind. The portfolio should be sent to the following e-mail address: direction.utrecht@afpb.nl by 14 April. All entries will then be sent to the jury for assessment. Consideration will be given to originality, artistic quality and relevance in relation to the intercultural theme. A total of five artists will be selected.

Rencontre des personnes travaillant à l’Alliance et discussion avec eux sur la place du français dans les Alliances aux Pays-Bas et plus généralement la place du français pour les étudiants néerlandais.
Transfert vers Den Haag Centraal à pied (10 minutes de marche) et train Den Haag-Utrecht avant 16.00.
