Cercle Littéraire

Come read in French and join our French literature workshop.

You will discover an exciting selection of works chosen by our teacher of French literature, Anja-Hélène van Zandwijk. This selection includes both modern French literature and classics.

What our participants share above all is the pleasure of reading and discovering French literature and its great cultural diversity.

Each session consists of a discussion about a novel, after an introduction about the author, his or her work, the literary, historical and cultural context, sometimes with a video about the author.

Excerpts are read aloud to help you appreciate the style.

You’ll also discuss the current literary season and current events.

Advanced: B2 and above.
