How do you determine your level of french?

Consult our course offers and enrol directly. Important: don't sign up for a course if you don't know your level, otherwise you may not be able to follow the lessons to the best of your ability.

Contact Charlotte, our teaching coordinator, for a free assessment test. This test will enable us to accurately determine the course best suited to your skills.

Registration process 

  1. Choose your course
    o Consult our online catalogue to find out about the courses available, their timetables and prices.
  2. Register online
    o Fill in the registration form on our website.
    o Pay the registration fee to reserve your place.
  3. Receive confirmation
    o Once your registration has been validated, you will receive an email confirming your place on your chosen course.

⚠️ Do not order a book until you have received final confirmation of your course.

Reminder: Our courses are very popular. Enrolment is on a first come, first served basis, so don’t delay in booking!

Essential information

  • Limited places: To ensure good quality teaching, the number of students per course is limited.

  • Teaching materials : The books required will be indicated in your enrolment confirmation. Please wait for this confirmation before purchasing them!

Cancellations and refunds 

  • You have a legal period of 14 days (including public holidays) from the date of your registration to exercise your right of withdrawal. To do so, simply inform us in writing (cursus.utrecht@afpb.nl) before the end of this period.
  • In the event of a valid withdrawal, the Alliance Française Utrecht will reimburse, by bank transfer, the sums paid (excluding 50 euros for administrative costs) within a maximum period of 30 days after receipt of your request.
  • The right of withdrawal does not apply if the course has already started within the 14-day period. If you change your mind after the course has started, you will have to pay for the sessions you have already attended.
