Treasure hunt
Discover how much fun it is to learn French with our treasure hunt!
During this interactive activity you will get to know the city of Utrecht better and learn French in the meantime! With each task, you’ll get a puzzle with hints to solve together and practice your reading and speaking skills. Don’t panic if you don’t manage to solve a puzzle in one go! You can then just continue the scavenger hunt.
There are different levels to do the treasure hunt in. The hunt takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Learning French has never been such an experience!
The A2 level treasure hunt builds on the material from the courses, such as giving (route) descriptions, making comparisons, numbers, etc. You also learn a lot of new vocabulary along the way. The treasure hunt puzzles can be solved by using your French knowledge. Many clues are references to the French culture.
During the treasure hunt in C1 level, you will take a true journey through time. You’ll go through the old streets of Utrecht and rediscover the history of Utrecht, all while practicing your French! You will search for a mysterious lost object, relive various historical events and come face to face with the most prominent figures of Utrecht’s history.
