Inspir\u00e9 par des mythes et des histoires vraies, Garrone nous \u00e9meut profond\u00e9ment en d\u00e9peignant une odyss\u00e9e des temps modernes qui commence au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal et s&#8217;\u00e9tend \u00e0 travers le d\u00e9sert aride et la mer tumultueuse pour atteindre l&#8217;Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s la projection, nous invitons le public \u00e0 une s\u00e9ance de questions-r\u00e9ponses passionnante avec l&#8217;un des personnages principaux du film. Cette discussion sera anim\u00e9e par notre professeure de fran\u00e7ais Gabrielle.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Ge\u00efnspireerd op mythen en waargebeurde verhalen neemt regisseur Matteo Garrone (Gomorra, Dogman) de kijker in Io Capitano mee op een diep ontroerende tocht van twee tienerjongens, die hun familie in Senegal verlaten om hun \u200b\u200bdroom van een beter leven in Europa na te jagen. Hun hedendaagse Odyssee voert hen door de verstikkende woestijn en over de onstuimige zee. Ze beginnen hun reis als mens, maar transformeren al snel tot handelswaar voor de mensensmokkelaars waarbij hun dromen, hoop en ambities ruimte moeten maken voor een strijd om te overleven.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Na de film zal er een Q&amp;A zijn met \u00e9\u00e9n van de hoofdpersonen in het Frans en Engels.
