Het ontwikkelt zijn landschap voortdurend met projecten die zijn skyline en culturele verhaal steeds opnieuw defini\u00ebren. Op 25 oktober 2025 gingen de rolluiken voor de ramen van het voormalige Louvre des Antiquaires omhoog. Veel voorbijgangers bleven staan om een eerste glimp op te vangen van de gloednieuwe Fondation Cartier en de tentoongestelde werken. Het ontwerp is van Jean Nouvel.
